Just a little lesson to help you get through the recession in California: if you own a laptop and can’t afford a new one, don’t try balancing it on your porch of your fourth floor apartment. It was so weird, but I had some people at my apartment in Los Angeles last weekend and we were having a lot of fun and were drinking…a lot. I didn’t have any money to pay my mortgage last month because this recession in California is making it really hard to keep my finances in order.
